Call for Submissions: Deadline Approaching for the Africa Water & Sanitation Systems Leadership Symposium

Submission deadline: 15 May 2026

The Call for Submissions for the Africa Water and Sanitation Systems Leadership Symposium is now open, inviting practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and innovators to contribute to the programme of this continental gathering.

The symposium will take place in Kigali, Rwanda (17–21 August 2026) and will convene leaders working to strengthen water and sanitation systems across Africa. Three Ways to Contribute

Submissions are invited under three categories:

1. System Reforms and Investment Fiches Showcase policy reforms, governance improvements, and investment-ready initiatives that improve water and sanitation services.

2. Country Transformation Snapshots Highlight national or sub-national progress, key lessons, and scalable approaches to system transformation. 3. Youth-Led Innovations Present youth-driven solutions addressing challenges in WASH, climate resilience, and service delivery.

Selected contributions will be featured at the symposium, providing a platform to share knowledge, build partnerships, and influence sector dialogue.
